Birla Ready Mix concrete (BRMC) division is one of the important part of Grasim Industries Ltd., It operates alone in Bangalore with five plants with --- capacity. GIL has appointed KEIPL as service agents for maintaining General Accounting, Raw Material records and stores records for BRMC plant Bangalore, India.

Major activity inactivity in the above three streams include:

  
     
 
  • Accounts:
    • Tracking of Delivery Orders.
    • Tallying production record with delivery challans.
    • Raising Debit Note and Credit Notes.
    • Collection Accounting
    • Passing creditors bills and preparation of cheques.
    • Provision of data pertaining to transit mixture/pumps operations.
    • Passing bills of Traveling, conveyance, Telephone of GIL employees
    • Stock reconciliation, Debtors accounts reconciliation and Bank reconciliation
    • Wages payment accounting
    • Preparation of Trail Balance and financial reports as required by GIL.

  • Raw Materials and Stores:
    • To maintain raw materials purchase/ stock record along with inward/usage records.
    • Inventory valuation
    • Maintaining the stores, purchases and stock record along with inward and outward records.
    • Verification of suppliers bills and submit to accounts for timely payment.
    • Physical verification of Raw Materials and stores on Quarterly basis.

Complete operations of accounting are managed by software package TALLY, a user friendly package which helps in operations relating to accounting. The tasks are target oriented which should be completed within the set time frame of GIL. KEIPL has provided a motivated and trained accounting team for accounting operations and reliable & hard working team for stores and Raw Material operations.
